Journey In To The Heart Of Borneo

ITINERARY

DAY 01 ARRIVAL PUTUSSIBAU – SADAP – RIVER BANK CAMP SITE (B, L, D)

Pick up service at Putussibau in the morning and land transfer to Sadap Village for about 2,5 hours.  As arrival to the village, directly on board to the local wooden longboat and cruise up the Embaloh River for about 2 hours. Along the journey, explore the rain forest and pass some small rapids. As arrival directly construct tent for overnight. Lunch served by cooking on wood fire. After lunch, enjoy the nature by trekking and swimming. In the evening (optional and see the condition) trek into the pitch-dark forest to find nocturnal animals. Overnight at a simple campsite.

DAY 02 CAMP SITE – TEKELAN (B, L, D)

After breakfast and all prepared, continue by local wooden longboat and cruise up the Embaloh River for about 1 hours. Boat trip to Tekelan Camping ground in Betung Kerihun National Park (BKNP). Arrive at the site and set up the tent. Rest and enjoy the pristine rain forest of Borneo.

DAY 03 TEKELAN & SURROUNDINGS (B, L, D)    

Enjoy the morning in the slowly of life, breakfast with the fresh fish. Enjoy the nature trekking around Tekelan and some site around Ya Sibau river and jacket river. Back to camp again and trekking (30 minutes) to the point of body rafting. Do the body raft down to our camp. Enjoy the afternoon in the day of peace.

DAY 04 TEKELAN – MATASO – PUTUSSIBAU (B, L)          

After breakfast, transfer by longboat and cruise down to Sadap. Arrive in Sadap village and sightseeing the long house, this village famous by weaving technique. After that directly proceed to car drive to Putussibau. Check in to your hotel. TOUR END
