SAMBOJA LODGE – WAIN RIVER PROTECTION FOREST – MANGROVE CENTER

Pick up service at 06.30 am, transfer to Samboja Lodge for about 1,5 hours. Arrive and visiting the orangutan handmade island, feeding time at 08.00 am. Continue to sun bear sanctuary and visit the office tower. Continue to Samboja Lodge for lunch with Indonesian buffet.

Visit Wain River Protection Forest for short trekking, here we could see the primary rain forest. Continue to Mangrove Center for boat trip to see wild proboscis monkey and mangrove forest. TOUR END

SAMBOJA LODGE – BANGKIRAI HILL & CANOPY BRIDGE – MANGROVE CENTER  

Pick up service at 06.30 am, transfer to Samboja Lodge for about 1,5 hours. Arrive and visiting the orangutan handmade island, feeding time at 08.00 am. Continue to sun bear sanctuary and visit the office tower. Continue to Samboja Lodge for lunch with Indonesian buffet.

Continue to the Bangkirai Hill, these areas known as Bukit Bangkirai, as most of the trees are Bangkirai. Entrances the forest through the track step for investigate any kind of flora and fauna of borneo rain forest. There is Canopy Bridge which is connecting between the trees, about 30 meters from ground with more than 100 foots step.

Continue to the Mangrove center, we will start our trip with a boat to find any wild proboscis monkey. transfer to Balikpapan. TOUR END.

1. All booking to be made either by email.
2. A 100% deposited of total calculated tour price, to be paid at twenty (20) days before arrival, by transfer. Price subject to change.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation charges may occur for transport, carriers, accommodation, restaurant, guide booking, correspondence costs and other component that use on the program, this fee should be charged to the clients. Cancellation only allowed before the date of arrival or starting date.

REFUND

There will be no refund since the arrival date.

RESPONSIBILITY

Every participant shall be regarded in every respect as carrying his/her own risk with respect to loss or injury to person or property. We do not accept responsibility for losses or expenses result.

LIABILITY

We acts as intermediary for transport carriers, accommodation, restaurant and other component that use during the program, assumes no responsible for any delay, change of schedules, loss, damage, injury, theft, accident, and irregularity.

Due to all causes beyond the program, we reserve the right, without penalty, to alter itineraries or program.

What to bring :

Travel bag, rain coat, suntan lotion, hat, T-Shirt, paddling/beach sandals, comfortable walking/trekking shoes with extra socks, binocular, flash light with extra bulb and batteries, camera, towels, personal medicine, for souvenirs and other personal expenses please bring Rupiah.

SAMBOJA LODGE OVERNIGHT

DAY 01       BALIKPAPAN AIRPORT – WAIN RIVER PROTECTION FOREST – SAMBOJA LODGE – BLACK RIVER – SAMBOJA LODGE (L, D)

Pick up service at airport in the morning time, transfer to Wain River Protection Forest, trekking about 1,5 hours.

Directly drive to the lodge for about one hour. Arrive at lodge continue check-in, lunch & free activities. Pick up service at 15.30, continue to the Black River for boat trip to see wild proboscis monkey and fisherman village.

Return to the lodge almost dark and enjoy the atmosphere of lodge, diner provided at Lodge.

DAY 02       SAMBOJA LODGE – BANGKIRAI HILL – MANGROVE CENTER – BALIKPAPAN (B, L)

Breakfast at lodge, at 08.00 am. Join the feeding time at orangutan handmade island, sun bear sanctuary continues to the office tower and you will have a lot of information about the project of Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation. Return to the lodge for lunch time. Prepare for check-out. Pick-up at 13.00
